“Jacob’s level of professionalism is beyond compare. From the initial estimate, to his first month of service. I think I found my new go to pool guy. My pool went from baby poop green to Bahamian ocean water clear. Couldn’t be more grateful”
“The best pool company we've ever had! Since moving to Florida, it's been quite a challenge to find a reliable company. Pool Optics is so reliable and professional. After every service our pool is always crystal clear and everything runs so well! They even send out a photo as well as a thorough report of what they specifically did. I would highly recommend them!”
“I can't say enough about how awesome Jacob is! I messaged him and he came the same day! The next day he treated my pool and the next day got it up and ready to swim! Im in St Pete and this was the quickest and best service I have ever had. And my pool was a mess! We are so happy to have found them and are so appreciative for the great service they provide!”

Pool Optics has a MyPoolsGuide Rating of 4.4 out of 5, based on 100 customer reviews as of November 2026. Customers most often mention professional team, crystal clear pool and kind staff. The Rating is recalculated every month. How MyPoolsGuide rates explains what goes into it.
Which areas does Pool Optics serve?
Pool Optics serves Tampa, St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Largo, Palm Harbor, Sarasota, Seminole and 3 more cities. If your neighborhood sits at the edge of that area, call (352) 736-8124 to confirm they cover your street before you book a first visit.
Does Pool Optics handle saltwater pools?
Yes. Pool Optics lists salt system service alongside its weekly cleaning, so it can keep a saltwater pool's chemistry in range and maintain the salt cell. It also takes on green-pool recovery, one-time cleans, pools with a spa or hot tub, commercial and HOA pools, vacation rentals and storm cleanup. Ask about salt cell replacement when you call (352) 736-8124, since cell life varies with use and water chemistry.
Does Pool Optics do repairs as well as cleaning?
Yes. Pool Optics handles equipment repair and resurfacing as well as weekly cleaning. Florida requires a pool contractor license for equipment replacement and resurfacing, and this company does not show one on MyPoolsGuide, so ask about licensing before booking major repairs. One company for cleaning and repairs means one call when something breaks.
When is Pool Optics open?
Pool Optics is open Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, and closed Saturday and Sunday. Call (352) 736-8124 within those hours to book a first visit or ask about a weekly slot. Hours can change around holidays and in storm season, so check before you rely on them.
